PT Company Establishment
The Indonesian economy is booming, and many entrepreneurs and investors are flocking to the country to make their company ambitions a reality. Our Company Establishment Service can assist!
In order to start a business in Indonesia, you can choose from a range of packages, the most popular of which is a PT.
Because a PT is essentially a local company established for Indonesian people, we would only advocate forming one if you are either an Indonesian or have a reliable Indonesian partner. We recommend establishing a PMA if you are a foreigner.
Setup a PT In 7 Easy Steps
1.File the business name with the Notary. Three words must be included
in the name.
2.A draft Deed of Establishment will be prepared by the Notary.
3.The Ministry of Law and Human Rights will issue a Decree Approval.
4.Obtain a Tax Identification Number (I.D.)
5.Obtaining the Registration Number (NIB/ Nomor Induk Berusaha) is the
fifth step.
6.Use the Online Single Submission System to obtain a business license.
7.Obtain a Business License (if applicable)
PMA Company Establishment
If you are a foreign corporation or individual interested in starting
a business in Indonesia, a PMA (Penanaman Model Asing) is the safest
way to do it. It will ensure that the investor has complete influence
over the company’s direction. There are no constraints on where the
business can operate, which lessens the risk of failing to locate a
suitable local partner.
Being a foreign owned company the investment value is significantly
higher than that of a PT. The investor should invest above USD 1
million / 10 Billion IDR as their investment plan, with a paid-up
capital above USD 250.000.000 / 2.5 Billion IDR. The Investment plan
can either be cash or fixed assets, such as machinery. The paid-up
capital does not need to be paid until after the company is
established.
